(1) Ask the dealer for the quality inspection certificate and quality inspection report of the product.
(2) Carry out visual inspection on the spot to observe whether the product has obvious quality defects such as missing sleeves, spots, cracks, shaft bubbles, and ripples. Those with the above defects must not be used.
(3) Check by hand. Clamp two bricks with your fingers and hit each other. If the sound is crisp and loud, it is a qualified product. If the sound is low and muffled, there must be inherent quality defects.
(4) Discrimination of color difference. Due to the large quantity of wall tiles purchased at one time, if there is obvious color difference between multiple packages, the decoration effect will be greatly affected. It is necessary to sample and compare all the packaged products to observe the change of color difference. If the color difference is large, it cannot be selected.
(5) The specifications and sizes should be inspected one by one. Products with a size error greater than 0.5 mm and a flatness greater than 0.1 mm will not only increase the difficulty of construction, but also have poor decoration effects and cannot be used in engineering.
(6) Listen to the sound. Lightly tap with a hard object, the clearer the sound, the higher the degree of porcelain and the better the quality. You can also clamp the corner of the tile with the thumb, index finger and middle finger of your left hand, hang down easily, and lightly tap the middle and lower part of the tile with your right index finger. If the sound is clear and pleasant, it is the top grade;
(7) Drip test. You can drop water on the back of the tile to see how quickly the water soaks. Generally speaking, the slower the water absorption, the higher the density of the tile; on the contrary, the faster the water absorption, the sparser the density, and the former is the best in its internal quality.
