Installation considerations for natural stone

Since decorative stone is a natural product, the pattern and color characteristics of each plate will not be consistent. It must be mosaic (color) to gradually extend and transition the pattern and color to achieve overall color harmony. After the flowers (colors) are put together, they should be numbered immediately so that they can be in place according to the number during installation. The number can be pasted on a sticker or written directly on the board with a wood crayon, but do not use liquid colored pens to write marks on the stone board to prevent the colored liquid from penetrating into the stone and leaving indelible marks.

When installing, first apply a layer of clear cement slurry to the floor, then use 1:2.5 cement mortar as the bottom layer, tamp and level it, and then pour clear cement slurry to stick the stone firmly. The thickness of the cement mortar base should not be thinner than 20 mm. Do not walk or press heavy objects within 8 hours after the stone is laid, so as to avoid empty shells or unevenness. At the same time, it must be noted that some imported stone materials have a plastic network on the back, and the flaky network must be torn off before installation.

It should be noted that although the floor and wall decoration materials of the bathroom can have a variety of materials to choose from, there is one prerequisite: it must be waterproof. Moreover, sandstone-like stone cannot be used, even if the surface layer is waterproofed, it should not be considered.

After all the stone veneer panels are positioned and fixed, it needs to be repaired. Since there is always a flatness tolerance in a single stone veneer panel, there must be unevenness at the joints when they are combined into a plane, so the leveling of the joints is the installation An indispensable link in the project. Another important task of renovation is to remove all kinds of stains on the surface of the stone veneer, especially the grout stains, which should be removed easily.
