It can be the erosion of the river, or friction between them. The pebbles may be caused by historical floods and mudslides (because they are usually in mountainous areas), but the specific reason depends on the geological structure and geographical environment there, as well as the conditions of other surrounding mountains. About 100 million years ago in the Mesozoic Era, under the action of crustal movement, magma emerged from the surface, and the rapidly cooled magma formed granite. Thousands of years ago, the intrusion of magma caused the dislocation and extrusion of granite, which produced a large number of smaller stones. Those stones near the water were washed slowly by water for a long time and interacted with each other. Rolling, eventually forming today's cobblestones. Some are rounded after weathering and become pebbles.
Pebbles are formed gradually over a long period of time
Due to the vibration and weathering of natural forces such as crustal movement, and the impact of mountain torrents, water transportation and repeated rolling and friction between sand and stones, lovely round pebbles are finally formed.
The formation process of pebbles can be divided into two stages. The first stage is the rock weathering and collapse stage; the second stage is the rock transport and rounding stage by the river water in the river.
Pebbles containing small stones are formed because of broken rocks. After long-distance transportation, the edges and corners disappear, forming round or oval stones (or pebbles, gravels), and then the cemented rocks are called gravels.
They used to be thick and big rocks, but after millions of years of rain washing and collision with each other, they became pieces of clear and beautiful pebbles.
